Bonnie L. Anderson, 63, of Grays River, died on May 11, 2012, in Grays River. She was born on January 5, 1949 in Molhar, Ore. in Tillamook County the daughter of Monte and June Dow Whyde. She was raised in Zanesville, Ohio and later became a cosmetologist in the early 1980s. She came to this area from Zanesville, Ohio in 1963. She was married to Dan Anderson on May 26, 1967 in Naselle.
Mrs. Anderson was employed for Kelly Services at the fish hatcheries for 30 years and then for 18 years for Wahkiakum County at the KM transfer station as the manager/operator.
She was a member of the Valley Bible Church in Rosburg, for many years and loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved cooking for them, knitting, baking, bingo, and her trips to the casinos. She treasured each of her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Dan Anderson of Grays River; daughters Shannon (Rob) Maki of Deep River and Beth Byrd of Longview; sons Daniel Anderson of Texas and Ronald (Crystal) Anderson of Port Orchard; sisters Connee (Warren) Haataja of Rosburg, Laura (Vern) Bahlman of Loveland, Colo., Mary (Ray) Haataja of Grays River, and Susan (Ken) Chapman of Hammond, Ore .; brothers Bill (Merrilee) Whyde, of Barstow, Calif., Mike (Denise) Davis of Hammond, Ore., and Claude Davis of Forks; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father Monte Whyde, mother June Dow, brother Monte Whyde and grandson Ryan Daniel Anderson-Ramirez.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 10 a.m. with a reception following at the Valley Bible Church in Rosburg. Burial will follow in the Grays River Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to your local hospice care provider in her memory.
