Sheriff's Report - May 10, 2012

Wahkiakum County law enforcement officers and emergency response personnel handled a variety of reports during the past week, including:

April 30--11:13 a.m. A West Little Island Road resident reported that a neighbor had stolen his boots before becoming angry and threatening the caller. 11:22 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a Main Street address to aid a man who was having extreme abdominal pain. 11:20 p.m. A Boege Road resident reported an unauthorized use of a credit card.

May 1--11:23 a.m. A Suncrest Lane resident reported that the county assessor had come onto his property and attempted to open the front door without permission.

May 2--12:31 p.m. A caller reported that juveniles were jumping up and down on the tables in Erickson Park.

May 3--12:09 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to an Elochoman Valley Road residence to aid a 64-year-old woman who was very ill. 5:53 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a 72-year-old Elochoman Valley Road resident who was unable to move.

May 4--6:46 a.m. A caller reported that a boat and boat trailer were upside down in the westbound lane of SR4 near Nassa Point. 6:27 p.m. A caller reported that a tree was blocking SR4 near the Duck Inn in Skamokawa. State Patrol was advised.

May 5--12:03 p.m. A West Cape Horn resident reported that there was a den of coyotes that had been causing problems in the area. State patrol was notified. 10:17 p.m. A 2nd Street resident reported that a neighbor's dogs had been barking constantly for over an hour. A deputy was advised. 11:32 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to Swenson's Corner to aid an 18-year-old male with an eye problem.

May 6--6:02 a.m. A caller reported a woman had threatened to shoot him. 11:57 p.m. An East SR4 resident reported that a woman had been crawling around in bushes on his property before heading to the highway and acting strangely. 12:15 p.m. An Island View Lane resident reported a 15-year-old girl had run away. At 2:50 p.m., the girl turned up at West Cape Horn and was trying to get to Longview. At 1:00 a.m. dispatch received a report that she was at a juvenile shelter in Portland. 4:14 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a West SR4 residence to aid a 39-year-old woman having a possible seizure. 9:10 p.m. A caller reported being assaulted at a Middle Valley Road residence. 10:36 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to the Cathlamet fire hall to aid two females who had been assaulted.

May 7--8:08 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to the clinic to aid a 78-year-old man with chest pain.
