Weather dependent satellite a pain

To The Eagle:

About an hour ago I lost the satellite signal for television. When I called I was told to wait until we had no weather and they could send out a technician to look at the system. I told the representative that it rained about nine months of the year and we have about two months to go.

I asked her what she recommended ? She said, sorry but there was nothing she could do....She was going to hang up!

I am waiting for her supervisor – five minutes later, still waiting.

Still on hold, I think Lawrence Welk is playing a polka......still waiting. I wonder where in the world the supervisor lives?

I call this condition rain fade, I think people, houses perhaps even whole counties suffer from this condition.

The amazing thing is it isn’t raining – it is drizzling, lightly. I am sure the rain fade and fog will clear up about billing time and trust me there won’t be an adjustment on the bill for an act of god or my losing their signal.

After all, it must be my fault. I am wondering if I should cancel our satellite service if I have to wait until there is no weather.

I was just disconnected......
