NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Proposed Amendments to
Wahkiakum County 6-Year and Annual
Construction Programs
Wahkiakum County proposes to revise the Annual Construction Program pertaining to Road and Bridge Construction for the year 2012. In addition, an amendment to the 6-Year Program for the years 2012 to 2017 will be considered. Pursuant to the provisions of RCW 36.81.121 the Board of County Commissioners will hold a hearing on this matter at 11:00 a.m., March 13, 2012 in the Commissioners meeting room of the Wahkiakum County courthouse. All interested persons may there and then provide testimony on this matter.
Amendments to be considered at the hearing include new FHWA rules listing phases of a project as separate projects
Run-Off Road/Intersection Safety – Countywide
Guardrail
The federally funded project listed above will not require local matching funds.
The proposed changes to the Annual Construction program and 6-Year Transportation Improvement Program are mid-year adjustments to the current programs, and the hearing is distinct from the annual process of preparing construction programs for the years ahead. Separate notice will be provided for the later hearing on next years Annual Construction Program and for the Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program covering the years 2013-2018.
