ORDINANCE NO. 545-11

AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF Cathlamet, WA, AMENDING ORDINANCE 466 AND ORDINANCE 468, PROVIDING ZONING CLASSIFICATIONS FOR THE LANDS ANNEXED INTO THE TOWN BY THE SAID ORDINANCES

WHEREAS, in Ordinances 466 and 468 (2005) the Town Council of the Town of Cathlamet annexed certain lands to the northwest of the corporate limits into the Town; and WHEREAS, in so annexing said lands the Council inadvertently omitted to provide zoning classification(s) for said annexed areas as required by the Cathlamet Municipal Code (CMC); and WHEREAS, the Council of the Town is intent to correct the mistake and comply with CMC Chapter 18.70;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF Cathlamet, AS FOLLOWS:

Ordinances 466 and 468 are each hereby amended to provide the following zoning classifications:

1. All of that portion of the annexed area designed as "Area 1", except for that area commonly known as "Marina Estates at Cathlamet" subdivision -LESS-THAN-00404-and legally described in the full text of this ordinance-GREATER-THAN-00404- is hereby classified as a COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL zone;

2. That portion of Area 1 excepted above, commonly known as "Marina Estates at Cathlamet" subdivision, is hereby classified as a COMMERCIAL zone; and

3. All of that portion of the annexed area designed as "Area 2" -LESS-THAN-00404-and legally described in the full text of this ordinance-GREATER-THAN-00404- is hereby classified as a COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL zone;

4. Pursuant to CMC 18.70, the official zoning map of the Town of Cathlamet shall be changed to show the zoning classifications herein.

5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force on five days after passage and publication.
