Conservation District meeting rescheduled

The Wahkiakum Conservation District Board meeting has been rescheduled to January 3, 2012 due to the holidays.

The United Church of Christ (Congregational) will hold a Christmas Eve service this Saturday.

Join the congregation for stories, songs and candle lighting at 4 p.m. for the Naselle UCC and 7 p.m. for the Cathlamet UCC.

Food bank donations are welcome.

Naselle Library releases new events calendar

Timberland Regional Libraries have released their calendar for January through February. This will include their Adult Winter Reading event, which will run through March 15 in which participants read five books in three months to be in with a chance at a prize drawing.

Events happening at the Naselle branch of the library include:

January 3--Friends of Naselle Timberland Library meet at 6 p.m. at the library.

January 16--All Timberland libraries closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

January 24--Page Turners Book Discussion Organizational Meeting, 6-7 p.m. at the library, for adults and teens.

January 25--Timberland Regional Library Board of Trustees public meeting, 7 p.m. at the Timberland Regional Library Administrative Service Center in Tumwater.

February 7--Friends of Naselle Timberland Library meet at 6 p.m. at the library.

February 8--Be My Valentine, 3:30-4:30 p.m., create cards for family ad friends, for all ages.

February 20--All Timberland libraries closed for Presidents' Day.

February 22--Timberland Regional Library Board of Trustees public meeting, 7 p.m. at the Timberland Regional Library Administrative Service Center in Tumwater.
