Home Depot Foundation awards grant to WCN

The Friends of the Garden (FOG) group has been wanting and needing a fence built around the Wahkiakum Community Garden at Erickson Park for the past two years but cost was prohibitive. Working with the Wahkiakum Community Network (WCN) and The Home Depot for the past two months has resulted in the Home Depot Foundation awarding the FOG group the materials and volunteers needed to build a new wooden fence.

FOG is taking names of people who want to reserve a garden plot for next spring. Call Carol Geil at 360-452-7359.
