CALL FOR BIDS

JANITORIAL SERVICES

WAHKIAKUM COUNTY

CATHLAMET, WASHINGTON

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Wahkiakum County Public Works Department in the County Courthouse at 64 Main Street, P.O. Box 97, Cathlamet, WA 98612 until the hour of 11:00 A.M. on November 22, 2011. Sealed bids will then be opened and publicly read in the chambers of the Board of County Commissioners for janitorial services in Wahkiakum County buildings.

Contract Description:

This contract consists of cleaning of the Wahkiakum County Courthouse, 64 Main Street, Cathlamet, Washington and cleaning of the Human Services Compound, 42 Elochoman Valley Road, Cathlamet, Washington, and other County buildings as more particularly described in the contract documents.

All bids shall be submitted by using the County's three page Janitorial Services Proposal form, including bidder's statement of qualifications. Bids not submitted in this manner will be rejected.

The successful bidder will be required to execute a written Building Service Maintenance Contract and to carry liability insurance and fidelity bonds as described in the contract documents. This contract is for one year period from January 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012, and may be extended as authorized by the Board of County Commissioners.

Wahkiakum County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bidding and to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder who demonstrates qualifications to do the work.
