Comets claim league crown

The Naselle Comets pounded the North Beach Hyaks 55-6 and claimed the Pacific Leage football title last Friday.

Dustin Eaton completed 8 of 14 passes for 149 yards. The Comets ran for 257 yards. Dustin Eaton gained 136 yards, Sam Scrabeck 62, and Robert Eaton 54.

The third-ranked Comets host Ocosta next Thursday to close out the regular season. They'll entertain the Wahkiakum Mules in the opening round of the playoffs the following week.
