The Naselle Comets steamrolled the Northwest Christian Navigators 48-7 in Pacific League football last Friday.
In the first quarter, Robert Eaton and Sam Scrabeck scored on runs of six and 23 yards, and Dustin Eaton passed to Chandler Chapman for a 78-yard score. Robert Eaton scored twice in the second quarter on a 9-yard run and a 23-yard pass from Dustin Eaton, and Dustin Eaton rounded out the scoring in the third period on a 54-yard run and a 39-yard pass to Chris Walkowiak.
The Comets head to Ocean Shores Friday to take on the North Beach Hyaks.
The Comets, 4-0 in the Pacific League and 7-0 overall, stood third in last week's Associated Press football poll.
