NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON 2012
BUDGETS & NOTICE OF RATE HEARINGS OF PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 1 OF
WAHKIAKUM COUNTY, WASHINGTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the preliminary budgets of Public Utility District No. One of Wahkiakum County, Washington, for the Electric System, the Puget Island Water System and the Western Wahkiakum Water System, for the fiscal year 2012, were prepared and filed in the records of the District at its Office at 45 River Street, Cathlamet, Washington prior to the first Monday in September and a copy of said preliminary budgets then furnished to any person who called at the District's Office between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M. on Mondays through Fridays, exclusive of holidays.
NOTICE IS ALSO HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Commissioners of Public Utility District No. One of Wahkiakum County, Washington, will hold hearings on proposed rates of the District's Electric System, the Puget Island Water System and the Western Wahkiakum Water System. Information regarding the proposed rates can be obtained at the offices of the District located at 45 River Street, Cathlamet, Washington.
Hearings on the proposed budgets and proposed rates will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 8:30 A.M., or as soon thereafter as is practical, during the District's regularly scheduled meeting, in the meeting room of the District at its Offices at 45 River Street, Cathlamet, Washington. Additional hearings will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at 6:00 P.M., in the meeting room of the District at its Offices at 45 River Street, Cathlamet, Washington, and on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 6:00 P.M., at the Rosburg Hall, Rosburg, Washington. The District does not levy any tax assessments. Any person may appear at the meeting and at the budget and rate hearings and be heard for or against the budgets or any part or parts thereof.
The public and all customers of the District and the Systems are encouraged and invited to attend the hearings and all meetings of the District. The aforementioned meeting room is readily accessible for persons with disabilities. Additional assistance will be made for persons with disabilities.
