Vickie L. Francisco

Vickie Lynn Francisco, 56, passed away August 3, 2011 at her home in Cathlamet. She was born February 9, 1955 in Longview, to Arnold and Carol (Carnes) Wirkkala. Vickie graduated from Wahkiakum High School in 1973. She married Scott Francisco; he preceded her in 1978.

She worked as a CNA for Columbia View Care Center for many years. She loved her family, rock hunting, her work and helping people. She loved her dog, Knucklehead.

Vickie is survived by her sons, Dennis Mueller (Brittiny) and Rick Mueller, both of Cathlamet; a daughter, Charity Driscoll of Skamokawa; her father, Arnold Wirkkala of Cathlamet; sister and brother-in-law Kay and Bruce Holland of Cathlamet, four grandchildren, one niece and two nephews. She is also survived by Cary and Derek Wright, who she considered to be sons, in her heart. In addition to her husband, Scott; she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Dennis Mueller and her mother, Carol in 2005.

A Memorial Service was held August 10 at Heritage Bible Church on Puget Island. Private inurnment took place at Salmon Creek Cemetery in Naselle. Memorial contributions may be made to Cowlitz County Humane Society, PO Box 172, Longview, WA 98632.
