Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
In a pair of tough-fought games the Mules found themselves on the short end of the stick here last Friday night against the Morton-White Pass Timberwolves, falling 8-4 in game one and 6-3 in game two. Ben Miles took the hill in the opener for the 4-8 Mules while Brandon Fudge toed the rubber in the nightcap. Lars Blix found his stroke as he swung the bat well against the Timberwolves, collecting three hits in game one and two more in game two. Eight days earlier, things didn’t fare much better for the Mules while on the road at Adna, losing the opener 13-3 before letting an early nine-run lead slip away in game two, ultimately falling 13-12 to the Pirates. Zach Pierce led the way with three base knocks, while Blix and Fudge added two hits apiece and Miles a solo homer.
