April 12

The Wahkiakum Mules golf team beat the Adna Pirates in a duel match by a lower score of 176 to 209 in a home match at Skyline Golf course in Cathlamet. The Mules bested their season efforts by 9 strokes while bringing their season record to 6-0. Sophomore Bradley Peek led the Mules with a career best nine hole score of 39 beating Adna's Riley Boone's score of 43 by 4 strokes. Solid scores were also posted by Sophomores Peter Weiler 44 and Brook Calvert 45. Rounding out the lowest four scores of five player format was Freshmen Austin Good 48 and Zach Calvert 54.

April 19

The Wahkiakum Mules who finished 6th in the state last year travelled to Lacey to take on last year's 3rd place state finishers the Northwest Christian Navigators at the Hawks Prairie Links Golf Course. In the battle of the undefeated nothing was settled. Using the 11 Point Heads Up Format, the Wahkiakum Mules tied the Northwest Christian Navigators with 5.5 points each. Leading the Mules with 2 points each for beating their opponent in medal and match play were sophomores Peter Weiler 46 and Brysen Coleman 56. Scoring 1.5 points for tying medal but winning the match point was freshman Austin Good 47. Also playing well but loosing both heads up points in a close match was sophomore Brook Calvert 47. Also playing for the Mules were Zach Calvert and Bradley Peek. The Mules extended their record to 8-0-1 with the tie; in the match they also beating the Adna Pirates in straight up medal play and the North Beach Hyaks, who played incomplete as a team

April 21

The Wahkiakum Mules extended their season record to 9-0-1 with a 200-230 victory over the Adna Pirates at the Riverside GC in Chehalis. Four Mules tied for second, freshman Zach Calvert and sophomores Peter Weiler, Bradley Peek and Brook Calvert. One stroke back of the quartet were freshman Austin Good and 2 strokes Brysen Coleman.

April 26

Wahkiakum Mules sophomore Bradley Peek 43 eked out a one stroke victory over teammate Peter Weiler 44 for medalist honors on the difficult Green Meadows Golf Course in Vancouver, WA. Solid efforts by Brook Calvert 46 and Austin Good 47 capped a 180-219 victory over King's Way Christian and raised the Mules season record to 10-0-1. Also playing for the mules were Zach Calvert and Brysen Coleman.

April 28

The Wahkiakum Mules raised their season record to 12-0-1 with a 186 stroke performance over Three Rivers Christian 196 and King's Way Christian 216. Three Rivers broke 200 for the first time this year and kept the match close. Leading the Mules while paring the last 5 holes was sophomore Brook Calvert 45. one stroke back were sophomores Brysen Coleman and Peter Weiler. Also scoring were sophomore Bradley Peek and freshman Austin Good each shooting 49. Also playing was freshman Zach Calvert.

May 3

The Wahkiakum Mules record is now 17-0-1 after a 174-182 reckoning over previously unbeaten Northwest Christian at Highland Golf Course in Cosmopolis. The Mules also scored match wins over Willapa Valley, Raymond, South Bend and North Beach. Low scores for the Mules on the site of this year's District Tournament were freshman medalist Austin Good 41, Bubba Calvert 42 and Bradley Peek 43. Also scoring for the four sophomore and two freshman squad were Brysen Coleman 48, Zach Calvert 51 and Peter Weiler 55. The Mules return to Highland for a match on the back nine with all the same teams plus Adna today (Thursday).

The district tournament will be 11 a.m. May 11 and 12 at Highlands in Cosmopolis.
