State versus Lisa Rene Moody, 54, Cathlamet: The defendant pled guilty to a third degree theft charge; she admitted using a Cathlamet Fire Department credit card without permission. She was ordered to serve 365 days in jail, with 335 suspended on conditions, and to pay $230 court costs, $500 Crime Victim Compensation fee (CVC), and $6,000 restitution to the town of Cathlamet, with $1,000 of restitution converted to community service.
State versus Karl L. Moody, 53, Cathlamet: The defendant pled guilty to a charge of second degree theft; he admitted using a Cathlamet Fire Department credit card without permission. Sentencing will be May 23.
State versus Jason Alan Montgomery, 34, Puget Island: The defendant entered an Alford Plea, meaning he admitted the state would have sufficient evidence to convince a jury of the charge against him, reckless driving. His driver's license was suspended for 30 days; he was ordered to serve 365 days in jail with 335 suspended on conditions, and he was ordered to pay a $500 CVC and $230 court costs.
State versus Angel Lee Arola and Debra Ann Barto: Both are charged with charges of burglary, theft and possession of stolen property from the same incident. Both pled not guilty to the charges, and jury trials were scheduled in July 18 and 28.
State versus Daryl Keith Bowen, 40, Cathlamet: The defendant pled not guilty to two charges of second degree assault, and a jury trial was schedule for June 29 and 30. Residents of his apartment house claim he had been drinking and had fought with a neighbor and threatened people with a knife.
In reference to the marriage of Joanne Marie Knutson, petitioner, and Dustin Jay Knutson, respondent: The court entered a decree of dissolution of marriage and changed the wife's name to Joanne Marie Reganold.
