The Leroy Burns Rock Pit Pond will be open weekends beginning the last weekend of April until the last weekend of May.
The pond will only be open to children under 14 years old; those aged eight and under begin fishing at 8:30 a.m., all children under 14 begin at 9:30 a.m. The ponds close at 7 p.m.
The pond is located at the Leroy Burns rock pit site approximately 4 miles up Elochoman Valley Road and all anglers must bring their own bait and tackle and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No anglers over 14 and there is a limit of five fish.
