Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce is preparing to host the Bald Eagle Days Festival and Wooden Boat Show for the 30th year this summer. Over 4,000 attendees are expected at the event which begins on July 16, with vendors, parade, activities and fireworks and closes on July 17, after the Wooden Boat Festival.
The Chamber is seeking vendors for the event; Set-up begins at 8 a.m. on Saturday and take-down at 5 p.m. At that time if prearranged, vendors may move to the marina at no additional charge and remain till Sunday after the Wooden Boat Show. To sign up contact the chamber at 795-3999.
