Established as The Skamokawa Eagle in 1891
The Wahkiakum County WSU Extension will present a lambing management school to give participants experience in assisting ewes through the lambing process, caring for new born lambs, and general flock management.
Those wishing to take part can choose to attend either April 29 or April 30 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A short session on managing internal parasites will teach techniques to control parasites and decrease the indiscriminate use of dewormers.
Registration is required by April 20; forms can be obtained from the WSU Extension office in the River Street Building in Cathlamet. Registration costs are $20 for 1 family member, $30 for two, $40 for three, $50 for four and $5 for each child under 18 years old.
