Jacques “Jac” Roy Barry, Jr., 73, of Tieton passed away at the Selah Convalescent Home in Selah.
He was born September 14, 1937 to Jacques Roy, Sr. and Cora Elizabeth (Hovet) Barry in Sausalito, Calif.
He graduated from West Seattle High School in 1956. He and JoAn were married on November 8, 1957 in Seattle.
He lived in Mountlake Terrace from 1957 to 2001; moving then to Tieton where they have lived for the past 10 years. He worked for Boeing for several years before his career with Honeywell, retiring in 2001 after 38 years.
He was a member of the Cowiche United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, JoAn (Nutter) Barry at home; daughters Michele Morgan of Seattle and Kirsten Barry of Yakima; a large extended family of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the Fox Terrier Rescue. A funeral service was held on January 16, 2011 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church on Puget Island. He was buried at Greenwood Cemetery in Cathlamet.
Dowling Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
