December 27--4:16 a.m. A caller reported someone is stealing papers from newspaper boxes in Cathlamet. 6:41 a.m. A Rosedale resident reported a street light was hanging by wires from a pole; Wahkiakum PUD was notified. 4:17 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported a credit card scam via the telephone. 7:04 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman who was breathing but not responsive.
December 28--1:48 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman with a breathing problem. 2:22 a.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported a power outage; the PUD was notified. 3:09 a.m. A motorist reported a fallen tree blocking SR 4 west of Skamokawa; a deputy cleared branches, and the state Department of Transportation (WSDOT) was notified. 2:27 a.m. An East Birnie Slough resident reported signs of a burglary at a nearby residence. 3:53 p.m. A deputy arrested a driver after a vehicle stop. 5:26 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman. 9:05 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet resident having chest pains.
December 29--10:41 a.m. A Rosburg resident reported a woman was harassing another woman; a deputy was notified. 10:45 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle had run in a ditch between Rosburg and Deep River; the state patrol was notified and the Grays River ambulance responded. 11:53 a.m. A South Welcome Slough Road resident reported someone with a white Ford truck had entered a barn during the previous night and take a large number of items and two cages with chickens. 2:31 p.m. An Elochoman Valley resident reported a theft. 2:53 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Rosdale resident injured in a fall. 3:51 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a woman injured in a fall. 4:03 p.m. A Cathlamet woman reported a theft of medication. 7:20 p.m. A Puget Island resident reported people were messing around in a house under construction; an officer checked and found everything secure. 9:41 p.m. A caller reported SR 4 was very icy on KM Mountain; WSDOT was notified. 9:25 p.m. A motorist reported a vehicle in the ditch one mile up the Elochoman Valley Road; officers and the Cathlamet ambulance responded.
December 30--5:48 a.m. The dispatching center received a 9-1-1 call that a tanker truck had overturned on US 30 in Oregon; the call was relayed to the Oregon State Patrol. 6:25 a.m. A motorist reported a one car, non-injury accident on KM Mountain; the state patrol was notified. 7:51 a.m. A Rosedale business reported a burglary. 10:40 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a person needing transportation to a doctor. 2:34 p.m. A caller reported people were keeping some dogs in kennels without proper care. 9:37 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid an East Sunny Sands woman injured in a fall.
December 31--7:37 a.m. The driver of a semi truck reported sliding around on SR 4 on KM Mountain and getting stuck, partially blocking the highway. 9:49 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a man having a seizure. 11:32 a.m. A caller reported hearing an alarm for Western Wahkiakum Water System equipment; the PUD was notified. 6:47 p.m. A Rosedale resident said a juvenile was running away; the youth was located and talked to officers. 10:22 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a woman having an allergic reaction. 10:44 p.m. An officer arrested a driver for driving without a license after making a vehicle stop.
January 1--1:18 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman needing transportation to a hospital. 3:17 p.m. A Rosedale resident said a juvenile was running away; the youth was located. 6:22 p.m. A caller reported a 15-year-old youth was driving a car without a license in Rosedale.
January 2--11:50 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Skamokawa girl having a seizure. 3:08 p.m. An East Birnie Slough Road man said people had fired shots at his barn; two officers responded.
