December 20—4:29 a.m. A Greenwood Hill resident reported a fallen tree was blocking the road, the County Road Department was notified. 10:42 a.m. A caller reported a sexual assault. 7:55 p.m. A Beaver Creek Road resident reported that state Department of Natural Resources foresters were trespassing on his land.
December 21—1:58 p.m. A caller reported a burglary at a Commercial Street building. 7:52 p.m. A Cathlamet resident said a family member came home, got into a dispute, damaged the door, and left on foot; a deputy made contact. 9:40 p.m. A caller reported being harassed by a woman.
December 22—9:22 a.m. A Crossdike Road resident reported a suspicious car hanging around the area. 1:12 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a Rosedale residence to aid a man injured in a fall. 2:17 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to an Elochoman Valley residence to aid a man injured in a fall; an officer investigated. 8:56 p.m. An officer arrested a driver after making a traffic stop.
December 23—1:04 p.m. A caller said a person had left two young children unattended in a vehicle parked on Main Street; the vehicle was gone when an officer arrived.
December 24—5:35 a.m. A caller reported a car had run into the ditch at the intersection of SR 4 and the Elochoman Valley Road; an officer responded. 7:54 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet man who had fallen. 5:44 p.m. A caller reported a car had run into a ditch at the intersection of Risk and Elochoman Valley roads; no one was injured. 9:10 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Puget Island man with breathing troubles.
December 25—8:20 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to a one-car accident on the West Deep River Road. 2:49 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Puget Island man with pneumonia. 6:24 p.m. A caller reported a Puget Island couple were having a domestic disturbance; an officer investigated.
December 26—9:22 p.m. A caller reported a fallen tree was blocking a lane of SR 4 near Cathlamet, and the tree had also knocked out telephone lines; highway and utility crews were notified.
