CALL FOR BIDS

 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for:

will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Wahkiakum County, Washington, at their office, 3rd Floor, Wahkiakum County Courthouse, 64 Main Street, P.O. Box 586, Cathlamet, Washington, 98612, until the hour of 11:00 A.M. local time on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, and thereafter shall be publicly opened and read.

 Bidders are advised to carefully review the county's specifications. Complete specifications may be obtained by contacting the office of the Wahkiakum County Auditor, P.O. Box 586, Cathlamet, Washington 98612, telephone: (360) 795-3219. The vehicle will be available for inspection at the county shop on Elochoman Valley Road from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Monday, January 3, 2011, and from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday January 3, 2011, or by appointment.  Wahkiakum County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in the bidding, and to award the bid to the lowest responsible bidder. All bids submitted shall include date of delivery. Material differences in time of delivery may be considered by the County in determining the lowest and best bid.
