Chamber announces tree festival winners

The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce has released the results have its Sixth Annual Festival of Trees.

Design Winner: - The entry with the most votes overall, was Sharon's Pizza, for the Pizza Tree.

Voter Drawing winner was Becky Avalon, who was pleasantly surprised with Warm Vanilla Sugar scented gifts.

Silent Auction Winners were:

Wreath #5 - Julie Fritsch, "Pine Cone Wreath" by Janet Cimino.

Wreath #6 - Joyce Orr, "Holiday Elegance" by Lower Columbia Realty, created by Ashlenn Coleman.

Tree #7 - , Pat Kehrli, "Christmas Village Tree" by Linda Barth Farmer's Insurance.

Tree #8 - Tina Schubert "Go Mules" by Reel McCoy Guide Service.

Tree #9 - not for bid, "Thank you Chamber Members" by Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce.

Tree #10 - Joyce Orr; " Winter Friends" by WSU Master Gardners.

Wreath #11 - Joyce Orr, "Firemen Wreath" by Cathlamet Fire Department.

Tree #12 - Angie Pugh; "WHS - Cheer and Sport Tree" by Bank of the Pacific.

"We would like to thank all those who generously participated in this annual festival, especially to those who designed a tree or wreath. Thank you to the public, for your votes, comments and smiles," said Chamber Coordinator Lynda Gerlach. "The designs were unique and festive and loved by everyone. A huge thank you to the Hotel Cathlamet, for allowing us to host this event in their lobby, and to Molly and the girls at 'Tis the Season for all their help."
