Wahkiakum County law enforcement officers and emergency response personnel handled a variety of reports during the past week, including:
November 15--3:02 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a person at Nassa Point who possibly had a stroke. 8:44 p.m. Bradley Mountain residents reported a power outage; Wahkiakum PUD was notified. 9:06 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a person having an allergic reaction. 11:37 p.m. Wahkiakum officers executed a Longview police warrant and arrested a man on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
November16--5:38 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a teenage girl having an allergic reaction. 7:03 p.m. A caller reported a confrontation had occurred at a Cathlamet business; an officer was advised.
November 17--9:47 a.m. A caller reported an attempted fraud by a letter telling people they have won a drawing but need to send money to cover taxes. 1:10 p.m. A driver was arrested on an undisclosed charge after an officer stopped his vehicle in Cathlamet. 4:20 p.m. Fossil Creek Road residents reported a power outage because of a landslide; PUD personnel said they would respond at daylight.
November 18--2:31 a.m. Satterlund Road and other Grays River Valley residents reported a power outage; the PUD reported restoring power at 6:06 a.m. 7:58 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman possibly having a stroke. 1:46 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet man needing transport to a hospital.
November 19--3:10 p.m. An officer arrested a driver after stopping his vehicle near Skamokawa.
November 20--10:03 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet resident. 6:43 p.m. A caller reported finding an abandoned vehicle on Bradley Mountain; an officer learned it had been taken from a Rainier, Ore., resident. 7:57 p.m. A Greenwood Road resident reported someone had broken into a vehicle and taken cash and other items.
November 21--12:54 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman having a seizure. 1:28 p.m. A caller reported a car had run off SR 4 on KM and was stuck in snow.
