INVITATION TO BID ON PUBLIC WORKS PROJECT, LOGGING/TREE HARVESTING

The Port of Wahkiakum No. 2 is hereby soliciting professional foresters/logging firms to harvest approximately 75 trees from Vista Park in Skamokawa, Washington. These trees, mostly alder, have grown and now pose danger to adjacent campsites and other developed facilities. It is anticipated that the stumps may remain in place and that the limbs may be placed in an undeveloped area of the Park. A pre-bid showing of the proposed work is scheduled to occur as follows:
