Mules in the hunt for state volleyball

The Wahkiakum Mules rallied to defeat the Pe Ell Trojans 3-2 on Wednesday and remain in the hunt for a berth in the state tournament next week.

They play Northwest Christian Friday, Nov. 5, 5:30 p.m., at Napavine. The loser is out, and the winner advances to state.

Immediately after the 5:30 match, the winner will go to Adna to play another game at 7 p.m. for state tournament seeding; the winner of that game will be the third seed from District IV, and the loser will be the fourth seed.
