A vote for Brady is a vote for the people

To The Eagle:

Having attended two candidate forums and listening to the candidates for Wahkiakum County Commissioner, District #3, our clear choice is incumbent Blair Brady. He has been a perfect example of what a commissioner should be: fair, consistent, true to his constituents and himself, standing up for what is right and using common sense when it comes to decision making. Blair Brady has always kept his promises, been truthful, and gone above and beyond the usual office work when it comes to those he represents (our entire county).

He has had to contend with the fact that the other two county commissioners who sit on the board with him are not willing to back the majority of the voters who elected them but are “Johnny on the spot” when an agency comes in and makes a promise to the county coffers whether it has an adverse effect on private property, personal property or the citizenry. We don’t need more meetings or studies. The past few years have been full of that, and now it’s time to move forward.

Blair Brady’s opponent, Lori Fanoni Scott, is just another person for the agencies to use against the people. We need to remember that when we send our ballots in. Lori Fanoni Scott is a professional mediator, and thrives on more meetings and more studies yet won’t even answer a simple question with a yes or no. It makes you wonder what to expect if she is elected. Blair Brady will tell you what he thinks and why, but with Lori Fanoni Scott you may never know her thoughts until it’s too late. Do we need more Kandoll Road disasters or can we start to hold some of these NGOs and agencies accountable for problems they have created?

Your vote for Blair Brady will guarantee a vote for the people and their rights but if you choose to vote for Lori Fanoni Scott you will be giving our county away to the agencies.

Our votes go to Blair Brady, Wahkiakum County Commissioner District #3. Thank you Blair for all of your support to your constituents, your generosity to the charitable organizations you have donated to and especially for your integrity.
