State versus Jack Sebade: A 12-person jury found the defendant guilty of assault in the second degree while armed with a firearm. Sentencing was scheduled for October 25. Sebade was arrested October 24, 2009, after getting into an altercation outside the Duck Inn with another man. Sebade claimed self defense.

October 11, 2010

State versus Joseph Robert Lofstrom, 28, Cathlamet: The defendant was charged with second degree assault, domestic violence. The state alleges he choked his girlfriend while they were having an argument on October 3. The hearing was continued to November 8 when a trial will be scheduled.
