Chocolate Extravaganza enters its 12th year

The Charlotte House Advisory Board is sponsoring the 12th annual Chocolate Extravaganza this Friday at the Hotel Cathlamet.

The event runs from 4 - 6:30 p.m. and features local bakers competing for the title of "Most Decadent Dessert."

Last year's winner was Susan McClain Kuhn with her Almond Roca. Amongst this years entries include Peanut Butter Cups, Chocolate Snickers Pie, Sweet and Salty Cake, and Malted Fudge Brownies.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and seniors. To Go boxes will be available for $10. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the St. James Family Center or at the door.

All proceeds will benefit The Charlotte House Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Programs.
