June 28--8:02 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman who was very ill. 12:42 p.m. A Fern Hill Road resident reported someone had broken into his shop and taken a socket set, chainsaw, and keys; a deputy is investigating. 3:21 p.m. A Columbia Ridge Estates resident reported that children were throwing rocks at a contractor's trailer; an officer investigated.
June 29--1:31 a.m. Officers responded to a Columbia Street residence where a woman was assaulted; a man was arrested and initially cited for driving while being intoxicated. 4:27 a.m. An East Birnie Slough Road resident reported hearing a woman's screams; an officer investigated and found no one in trouble. 12:11 p.m. A caller reported that someone had stolen a Stihl chainsaw from a Vista Park Road address.
June 30--7:21 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet resident. 8:47 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported a water line was broken in the house and a town employee needed to shut off the water at the meter. 9:22 p.m. An East Birnie Slough Road resident reported someone had stolen four tire rims. 9:35 p.m. A Monroe Drive resident reported someone had stolen items out of two vehicles. 11:29 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet man in severe pain. 11:31 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet man injured in a fall.
July 1--8:03 p.m. A caller reported a brush fire on Puget Island; a fireman investigated and determined the report was unfounded.
July 2--7:13 a.m. A caller reported power was out in the Westend; the Grays River Fire Department was dispatched. 7:22 a.m. A motorist reported a one-car traffic accident on KM Mountain; there were unknown injuries; the Cathlamet ambulance was dispatched. 7:57 a.m. A caller reported a vehicle had an accident on Hodgson Road, rolling over, and that power was out; officers and the Cathlamet ambulance responded. 8:30 a.m. A caller reported a four-foot wood lathe had fallen out of a pickup on SR 4 the previous day. 9:24 a.m. An Altoona-Pillar Rock Road resident reported someone had moved a surveyor's stakes; an officer made contact. 10:18 a.m. An East Malone Creek Road resident reported a theft of three firearms. 12:47 p.m. A Middle Valley resident reported someone had stolen a car; an officer investigated. 3:26 p.m. A motorist reported a vehicle accident on SR 4 three miles east of Cathlamet; the Cathlamet ambulance was dispatched, but the driver left the scene. 8:56 p.m. A caller reported a subject was attempting suicide, officers and the Grays River ambulance were dispatched. 9:48 p.m. A caller reported a power outage on the west side of Cathlamet; the PUD was notified.
July 3--8:32 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet man who was unresponsive. 10:31 p.m. A caller reported someone from the county jail had tried to make a collect call and identified themselves as someone else; an officer was advised. 11 p.m. A Columbia Street resident reported a man and woman had been assaulted by another family member; officers responded; the suspect had left the scene and was headed to Port Angeles; Clallam County authorities were notified. 11:17 p.m. Rosedale residents complained that people were still lighting fireworks.
July 4--12:22 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported someone had stolen a purse left in a vehicle. 2:41 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman injured in a fall along Nelson Creek Road. 4:29 p.m. A domestic assault was reported at a Main Street residence; an officer investigated. 9:57 p.m. A Deep River resident reported that people were shooting off fireworks that were falling onto his property; a deputy was advised.
July 5--1:37 p.m. A resident in eastern Wahkiakum reported that someone had broken into a residence and taken a wedding ring and a flat screen TV; an officer investigated. 2:13 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid an Elochoman Valley man who had collapsed. 7:26 a.m. A motorist reported a sink hole was developing on Steamboat Slough Road; the county road department was notified. 6:05 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman injured in a fall at a Loop Road residence. A deputy is investigating.
