Church workshop aims to protect children

St. James Episcopal Church will be hosting a workshop entitled Safeguarding God's Children on June 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., presented by Sally Barnes.

The workshop is free and open to the public. Lunch is potluck, with beverages provided. The workshop will address the issue of protecting children from abuse and exploitation in church settings. Please call 795-8612 to register, in order that a headcount can be obtained to provide workshop materials for attendees.
