The St. James Family Center's Youth Adventure Program is offering the American Red Cross' Baby-sitter Boot Camp designed for today's youth ages 11-15.
Students will learn the baby-sitter's training curriculum, infant and child CPR, as well as have a simulated day of baby-sitting with a computerized infant.
Students will earn a child and infant CPR/first aid certification card, a baby-sitters certification card, an emergency reference guide, a baby-sitter's handbook and a baby-sitter's training DVD.
The classes will be held August 2,3&4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There is a $100 Red Cross class fee and a one time YAP registration fee of $2.
