WHS grad earns WSU award

Kari Schillios, a 2009 Wahkiakum High School graduate, was awarded the WSU Mortar Board Outstanding Freshman Scholar recognition. Students are chosen for this award based on leadership as well as scholastic achievement. Schillios is majoring in Hospitality Business Management with a minor in Communications and is the daughter of Susan Schillios of Cathlamet.
