Great White Tail Run gets underway Saturday

Participate in the 26th annual Great White Tail Run this Saturday (May 15) on the Julia Butler Hansen National Wildlife Refuge. Registration and packet pickup begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Skamokawa Vista Park. Fees will be $12 without a shirt and $25 with a shirt. A family or youth group discount is included with the first two entries of immediate family/group regular price, each additional entry is $3 off the regular price. Add $1 if you are bringing your dog and want to compete for awards in this division.

Walkers or runners will choose between a 10k, 5k or 2 mile distance with recognition given for overall male and female winners in each event. Ribbons will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age division.

This event is a fund raiser for the Wahkiakum based 4-H program and all proceeds will be used to benefit the county program.
