Fashion, fun and food to be had at annual tea

“Fashion and Fun” is the theme for this year’s Grays River Friendship Circle’s annual Spring Tea and Luncheon to be held on Sunday, May 16 at the Rosburg Community Hall.

There will be a short fashion show featuring a variety of styles for special occasions, some of them from the very distant past. Some will be on display as well.

The Maddox School Dancers from Warrenton will perform a dance from a popular Broadway play under the direction of Jeannie Peterson.

Doors open at noon. Lunch will consist of tea sandwiches, savories and desserts, and will be served at 12:30 p.m., followed by the program. Everyone is welcome.

Suggested donation at the door is $8, and tickets for the Pick Your Own Prize Raffle will be $1. Proceeds from this event will be used toward development of a Community Prayer and Healing Garden at Grays River United Methodist Church.

The Rosburg Hall is located off Highway 4 West; turn onto Altoona-Pillar Rock Road at the Rosburg store and follow the sign to Community Hall Road, which is the next right turn.
