April 26--10:24 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman who was very ill. 11:08 a.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to Rosburg to aid a woman who was acting very strange and a man with an injured foot; an officer investigated the reports as a possible domestic disturbance. 2:20 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a man trapped when an excavator rolled over at a West Valley residence.
April 27--5:11 a.m. A Cathlamet restaurant reported someone had broken into the building, thrown some items around and taken others; an officer investigated. 6:17 a.m. A caller reported a woman in a car in the Rosburg area was acting very strange; an officer made contact and took the woman to a domestic violence shelter. 6:39 a.m. An East Valley resident said three bulls were loose; the owners were contacted. 10:44 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a Cathlamet school to aid a 12-year-old who had ingested numerous medications. 11:40 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid an East Valley woman injured in a fall. 1:49 a.m. Skamokawa and District 4 firemen were dispatched to a chimney fire at an East Valley residence. 5:24 p.m. Officers investigated a reported theft of cash from an inmate's property.
April 28--6:02 a.m. A Maki Road resident reported two calves were missing. 3:54 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to a Cathlamet residence to aid a man with shortness of breath.
April 29--8:30 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a Cathlamet woman who had been injured in a fall. 11:01 a.m. A Skamokawa resident reported someone had recently broken into a building; a deputy made contact. 12:10 p.m. An officer responded to the Cathlamet grade school to assist with a problem involving a student and a parent. 2:21 p.m. The Grays River ambulance responded to aid a woman who was very ill. 2:22 p.m. A caller reported a theft from a rental property; a deputy made contact. 4:03 p.m. A Little Island resident reported someone had stolen two bicycles.
April 30--11:55 a.m. A Cathlamet resident reported someone had used his credit card to take money out of the caller's bank account. 1:16 p.m. A Westend resident reported someone had broken into a shed and travel trailer. 4:29 p.m. Cathlamet firemen responded to Main Street where a vehicle's engine was making smoke. 10:43 p.m. A motorist reported the driver of a lowrider pickup was weaving on and off SR 4; an officer made contact.
May 1--3:30 a.m. Officers responded to an Oak Point Road residence and arrested a man on a Cowlitz County warrant. 5:57, 6:09 p.m. Two Cathlamet men reported being assaulted by the other; officers investigated. 6:33 p.m. A Puget Island man reported a possible telephone scam from someone wanting to talk about unusual activity on his credit card; the caller said he disconnected, checked his account and found that money was missing; an officer made contact. 7:51 p.m. A Cathlamet resident reported men were yelling and fighting nearby; a deputy investigated.
May 2--9 a.m. A caller reported a car had rolled off SR 4 west of Rosburg; the state patrol investigated, and the Grays River ambulance was dispatched to check any injured persons. 9 a.m. A Columbia Street resident reported someone had broken into a house during the night. 10:07 a.m. A Cathlamet resident reported a strong smell of Propane; a fireman investigated. 1:40 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a woman who had fallen.
