Wahkiakum County law enforcement officers and emergency response personnel handled a variety of reports during the past week, including:
April 19--1:20 p.m. A Little Cape Horn resident reported a yellow Lab dog was being aggressive toward people; a deputy was notified. 1:35 p.m. A caller said a man was throwing a woman's things into a yard at a Cathlamet residence; an officer investigated, and a man was charged with trespass and domestic violence.
April 20--10:43 a.m. A Cathlamet business reported an attempted fraud in which a person gave a credit card number and a false Cathlamet address, a deputy investigated. 6:32 p.m. A Rosedale resident reported an attempted credit card fraud.
April 21--9:18 a.m. A caller reported a roofer was spilling nails on a street in Rosedale; the roofer was contacted and cleaned the spill. 11:39 a.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid an East Sunny Sands woman who was feeling very dizzy. 11:55 a.m. A caller reported a possible case of neglect of a pet dog; a deputy was advised. 12:03 p.m. A Greenslade Road resident reported someone had damaged water lines.
April 22--10:39 a.m. A timber land owner reported a former employee had abandoned a motor home on company land. 6:38 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a person at an undisclosed location. 8:34 p.m. A caller reported a domestic dispute; an officer was advised.
April 23--2:19 p.m. Wahkiakum High School reported an unruly juvenile. 5:36 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a four-year-old girl with trauma to the face at Cathlamet school property.
April 24--9:20 a.m. A South Welcome Slough Road resident reported a power line was down; Wahkiakum PUD was notified. 1:57 p.m. A burglary and theft of gasoline was reported at the fairgrounds in Skamokawa. 5:50 p.m. A Westend resident reported someone had torn down a no trespassing sign. 9:57 p.m. A caller reported young people were parked near recycling bins at Wahkiakum High School and making lots of noise; an officer made contact.
April 25--9:03 a.m. A Cathlamet resident reported someone had stolen an ornamental shrub. 10:07 a.m. A Westend resident reported someone had stolen a limited edition print. 11:25 a.m. A caller requested the Cathlamet ambulance be dispatched for a woman at the District 4 Fire Hall who was unconscious. 3:40 p.m. A Little Cape Horn resident reported a burglary; an officer investigated. 4:27 p.m. The Cathlamet ambulance responded to aid a man who had collapsed in Cathlamet.
