Republican Party county convention set April 10

The Republican Party's county convention will be held April 10, 1-6 p.m. in the River Street Meeting room in Cathlamet.

On the agenda will be the election of a delegate alternate to the state convention and working on the platform, and Jaime Herrera for congress, Craig Williams for senate will be speaking. Plans are being made to invite state Republican chairman Luke Esser and Attorney General Rob McKenna to speak.
