State versus Joseph E. Loudin, 34, Longview: The defendant pled guilty to a charge of possessing a controlled substance, methamphetamine, on February 18. He was sentenced to 18 months in prison and ordered to pay a $500 crime victim assessment, $230 court costs, $100 DNA collection charge and attorney fees of $756.
State versus Jack Sebade, 73, Cathlamet: The court entered an order finding competency to stand trial and set a trial date of May 3. Sebade has pled innocent of a charge of first degree assault. The state charges him with shooting a Longview man with a .22 pistol on October 24 outside the Duck Inn in Skamokawa after the man had knocked Sebade to the ground.
State versus Anthony L. M. Harrison, 17, a juvenile: The defendant pled guilty to a charge of a minor in possession of alcohol. He admitted having alcohol in a water bottle and sharing it with a girl on a school bus. He was ordered to pay a $75 crime victim fee and to have a substance abuse evaluation.
State versus Charles L. Wika, 58, Cathlamet: The defendant pled not guilty to charges of sexual exploitation of a minor and communication with a minor for immoral purposes. Connecticut police said a teenage boy had sent images to the defendant via the Internet. A trial was set for May 11 and 12.
State versus Michael Williams: The defendant made a preliminary appearance in court and was charged with delivery of a controlled substance, prescription pills, and delivery of marijuana. No plea was entered; arraignment will be April 5. The state alleges the defendant was selling drugs out of his Elochoman Valley home.
State versus Bradley Towery, 39, Vader: The defendant was charged with taking a motor vehicle without permission from a Grays River resident. He entered a plea of not guilty, and a trial was set for June 17.
