Notice of Public Hearing - Evergreen Septic

Biosolids Land Application Site

Notice is hereby given that Evergreen Septic, Inc. has applied to the WA State Department of Ecology for coverage under the Statewide General Permit for Biosolids Management. Notice was previously posted and published starting on February 17 and 18, 2010. Evergreen proposes to treat biosolids by lime stabilization at 5305 40th St. in Seaview (Pacific County), and transport biosolids for land application at a site located near 118 Covered Bridge Rd. in Grays River (Wahkiakum County). Evergreen's application contains a plan for the Grays River site and a general land application plan which describes how the applicant will identify future additional land application sites. Future sites will be posted with information, including how interested parties may comment. Copies of the application are available for review at the addresses below.

If you wish to be included on an interested parties list to receive notification of permit actions relating to this project, please notify, in writing, Mr. Claude Noyes at the address below. Evergreen Septic will provide written confirmation by certified mail, return receipt requested, to each interested person or organization, that their name has been placed on the list.

A hearing officer will conduct the hearing in accordance with standard agency practice. Written and oral testimony will be accepted during the public hearing. Persons with disabilities requiring assistance should contact Kyle Dorsey (below) at least 15 days before the hearing; persons with hearing loss call 711 for Washington Relay Service and persons with a speech disability call 877-833-6341. The hearing will be held on May 3, 2010 beginning at 6 PM at the Rosburg Community Hall located on Altoona-Pillar Rock Rd. Written testimony will be accepted up to the date of the hearing if it is clearly identified as testimony offered for the hearing. Time permitting, a public meeting allowing questions and answers will follow the formal hearing.
