Join St. James for a cuppa on market day

Join the St. James Family Center on April 17 between 1-4 p.m. for a Miniature Market Day. Based on the market days held in England, the event will feature booths selling an array of items including indoor and outdoor plants, hand-made pots, porcelain dolls, marmalade and a variety of collectibles both new and antique.

The center's second annual Traditional English Tea will be held on the same day, hosted by the ladies of St. James Episcopal Church. Traditional English food such as scones, savory and sweet goods and tea will be available, and there will be door prizes. Tea will be served beginning at 1 p.m. Tickets for the tea only are $12 and may be purchased in advance by calling 795-8612.

All proceeds from the event, which is sponsored by St. James Episcopal Church, will go to the St. James Family Center.
