Longview resident, Michelle Lee Farmer, 46, passed away March 13, 2010 at her home. She was born November 9, 1963 in Tacoma to Bruce and Polly (Macrae) Britton. She grew up in Cathlamet, graduating from Wahkiakum High School in 1982 and moving to Longview that same year.
She was a member of Faith Family Christian Center.
For many years Michelle worked as a waitress and manager for the Woodshed Restaurant before she went to work at Lindsey Cotterell’s Law Office as a receptionist for many years until 2008. She is most remembered for the love of her two sons, their sports and theater and the joy they brought her.
She is survived by her sons Corey Farmer and Kyle Farmer; her mother Polly Britton of Puget Island; sisters Pam Anderson, and Kim Tracy and her husband Jeff, all of Cathlamet; niece Carley O’Brian; nephews, Blake Anderson and Sean O’Brian; and her special friends Deanna Rich and Lori Winiger. She was preceded in death by her father Bruce Britton in 1998.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum in Cathlamet. Memorial contributions may be made in Michelle Farmer’s name to Faith Family Christian Center, 2203 38th Ave. Ocean Beach Hwy. Longview, WA 98632.
