Plans in motion for Bald Eagle Festival

The Chamber of Commerce board met last week to start planning for the 29th annual Bald Eagle Festival and Wooden Boat Show.

The board is asking the community to contact the chamber with theme ideas and suggestions for this year's Grand Marshal.

The Eagle Fest Kick-Off will be at Stockhouse’s Farm on Puget Island, sponsored by Two Islands Farm Market,on July 16, with food and music.

July 17 begins with the Kiwanis breakfast, and continues with a fun run, parade, games, vendors and fireworks.

The Wooden Boat Show will be July 18 at the Elochoman Slough Marina.
