Master Gardeners present seed exchange

When thinking about gardening, the place to start is seeds, On March 1 at 6:30 p.m., the Washington State University Master Gardeners will offer a seed exchange open to the general public.

For the exchange, package individual varieties about 15 seeds or so in small plastic bags, then write the type of seeds, the planting time and the depth of planting on each bag.

Prior to the exchange, WSU Master Gardener Jon Griffin will discuss seed collection, seed propagation and all sorts of information regarding planting your seeds for a great crop. The program will be held at Cowlitz County Convention Center in Longview for free.
