Wahkiakum School District's board of directors held a short meeting Monday and breezed through a short agenda.
Directors approved a proposal to purchase fencing for the baseball field to prevent players from going over a steep slope. They voted to hold a public hearing at the start of their March 17 meeting on changes to the Debt Service Fund.
Enrollment was down from 444.35 full time equivalent (FTE) students in January to 441.25 in February. For the year, enrollment has averaged 444.05 FTEs.
Superintendent Bob Garrett was excused from the meeting because of a death in his family.
