Kyle Bergquist who won the regional championship for his weight class. Blayne Edwards and Jeff Vik placed second in their weight classes, and Ben Miles and Mitchell Vik each placed third.
"We started off with a rough first round," said Mule coach John Hannah. "Once we got ourselves ready mentally things started to happen for us.
"Kyle had a tough first round, but was able to get it going late in his first match. Once Kyle is warmed up he is really tough to keep down.
"Blayne and Jeff had a great day from start to finish; even though they finished second, they proved a lot to themselves and the region.
"Next week is the week we have been training for, and we will need to start off with a great first round. State tournaments like ours are all about the first round, after that things just fall into place. We can get a lot of medals if we can pick up wins early on."
