Wahkiakum County Assessor Sulema Zerr will be the guest speaker at the monthly dinner meeting of the Kiwanis Club of Cathlamet next Tuesday.
The Kiwanis dinner is held at St Catherine Catholic Church, 400 Columbia Street, starting at 6 p.m. Members and guests are welcome.
Club President Dennis Gordon said Zerr has been invited to give a short presentation on the county's planned change from a 4- year revaluation cycle to an annual cycle.
Mrs Zerr and her husband, Phillip, who is retired from a land development business that included logging and excavation, now have Elk Mountain Ranch in Grays River and are involved full time in raising Waygu cattle.
"The speaker is part of our community; the topic is important to all of us; food is good and, you will enjoy yourself; a good night out," Gordon said in inviting the public to attend.
Zerr will speak after the dinner at approximately 6:45 p.m.
