Wahkiakum County 4-H Council is hosting a Super Saturday on January 16 at the Wahkiakum High School. This event is open to all youth ages K through grade 12; 4-H membership is not required.
The Extension has set up a selection of classes with a variety of subject matter including card making, basics of a good demonstration, animal quality assurance, forcing spring flower bulbs, intro to culinary arts, making silverware wind chimes, how to make great educational posters and intro to 4-H poultry. Classes are being taught by 4-H members, 4-H leaders and Master Gardener volunteers.
The day starts with check-in at 9 a.m., bring a sack lunch and attend all day to 2 p.m. Registration is $5 per youth or $15 for the family.
