Chamber announces Festival of Trees results

The Wahkiakum Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of its Fourth Annual Festival of Trees.

In the design category, winners were: - Wreath Winner, - "Firemen" by Cathlamet Fire Department. Large Tree Winner, - "Zebra Tree" by The Chamber of Commerce, and Small Tree Winner, - "Cathlamet Christmas" by Made in Wahkiakum.

Voter Drawing winner was Terri Cheedle, who won a gift basket filled with all things lavender.

The Silent Auction Winners were:

Tree #2 - Kay Cochran, "Golden Christmas Memories" by Lower Columbia Realty.

Tree #3 - Bill Wilkins, "Go Huskies" by Bank of the Pacific.

Tree #4, Rob & Diane Stockhouse, "Christmas Melody", by Chamber of Commerce.

Tree #5, Bernadette Goodroe, "Zebra Tree" by Chamber of Commerce.

Wreath #6, Donna Westlind, "Firemen Wreath" by Cathlamet Fire Department.

Tree #7, Rob & Diane Stockhouse, "Fish Happy" by Farmer's Insurance.

Wreath #8, Sandy Rouse, "Golden Elegance" by The Villa.

Tree #9, Sandi Rieder, "America" by Windermere.

"We would like to thank all those who generously participated in this annual festival, especially to those who designed a tree or wreath. Thank you to the public, for your votes, comments and smiles. The designs were unique and festive and loved by everyone. A huge thank you to the Scarborough Building, for allowing us to host this event in their lobby," said Chamber director Lynda Gerlach.
