What's Happening at the Fair?

Come one and all and join us as we celebrate our Second Annual Christmas Bazaar! Happening this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. within the heated Youth Building, bring your family along and enjoy an afternoon of fun.

Our volunteers have organized tons of fun activities including Bingo, carnival games and a cribbage tournament. Local vendors will be selling their wares, providing beautifully crafted gifts, perfect for the holiday celebrations.

You can flex your taste buds and sample the delicious baked goods, or sink your teeth into a mouth watering hot dog. Fun for all ages; don’t miss this annual fun-filled family event.

Also this Saturday is the annual spaghetti feed happening at the Skamokawa Grange from 6 p.m. This is a wonderful event sponsored by the Skamokawa Fire District and Grange Hall. Families are welcome to attend and are invited to enjoy a delicious spaghetti dinner for free. Donations are welcome but not required.

2010 is just around the corner and we need a new fair theme. So put on your thinking caps and start brainstorming as the fair board and I need your help. This year’s contest is sponsored by the Wahkiakum Fair Friends who have donated $25 for first prize. Entries can be emailed (wahkiakumfair@centurytel.net) mailed (PO Box 1, Skamokawa, WA, 98647), or left via phone (360 795 0419). Entries will be accepted until January 13 with the winner decided at the January fairboard meeting.
